"We currently use the Sports Performance Analyzer software for my Bantam club team. I have also used it with the Saskatchewan provincial Under-16 team. The software is extremely easy to use. We were able to train a parent and a volunteer how to use it in 10 minutes and they were able to work with it immediately.
The information we collect is used in game as well as after games. It provides complete profiles by player for feedback on shooting, hits and face offs. The graphic reporting provides a good visual representation when we are giving team and individual feedback. The philosophy of Sports Performance Analyzer of focusing on individual development is obvious when you use their software.
Even those teams that use video during games can benefit greatly from this software. We used it as a supplement to our video program in providing feedback to our players on the Under-16 team. While the video software did an excellent job in team wide analysis, Sports Performance Analyzer was integral to providing individual feedback to our players. With this being a short-term team and competition, very specific feedback was important and effective. Without Sports Performance Analyzer it would have been difficult to provide a comprehensive view of the tendencies of our players. It was extremely valuable.
